Data protection regulations
Taubenschuss GmbH, the operator of this website, takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Below we would like to inform you about the most important aspects of our data processing as follows, whereby the terms “we” and “us” used in this privacy policy always refer to the controller named in point 1:

- Data processing
- When you access this website, certain information is automatically transmitted by your browser. This includes the date and time of access, the URL of the referencing website, the amount of data sent, browser type and version, operating system and your IP address. We use this information exclusively to ensure the operation and security of the website.
- For the purpose of contract fulfillment (orders, provision of services, etc.) we collect, store and process personal data (= name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, means of payment information) of our customers. This data is stored until the expiry of the retention obligations under tax and company law.
- Registration for a customer account
If you create a customer account via this website, we collect, store and process your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and password. The processing is carried out for the purpose of managing your online account. - Payment processing online store; An anonymized transaction ID and details of the financing and payment terms (e.g. price, VAT rate) are transmitted to the external payment provider Viveum Zahlungssysteme GmbH for secure payment processing during online registration. If you are entitled to a refund, we will process your account data exclusively for this purpose and transmit it to the bank holding the account.

- In order to make your visit to our website attractive and to facilitate the use of certain functions for you, we use so-called cookies, which are stored on your end device. These are small text files that enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
- Newsletter with registration; right of revocation; If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. This is your name and e-mail address. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time with effect for the future by unsubscribing via the unsubscribe link at the end of the newsletter or by contacting us using the details in the Contact section. Your data stored for the newsletter service will be deleted immediately after you unsubscribe.our e-mail newsletters are sent via the technical service provider Sendinblue GmbH (Brevo), Köpenicker Straße 126

This transfer takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) will be stored on Sendinblue’s servers.
Brevo uses this information to send and statistically analyze the newsletter on our behalf. For evaluation purposes, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel image files stored on our website. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. Conversion tracking can also be used to analyze whether a predefined action has taken place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data is collected exclusively in pseudonymized form and is not linked to your other personal data; direct personal reference is excluded. This data is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you wish to object to data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter.
We have concluded an order processing contract with Brevo, in which we oblige Brevo to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties.

- In the event that we use your data to perform tasks in the public interest or we rely on the necessity of processing to safeguard our legitimate interests, you may object to the data processing if you have an overriding interest in the protection of your data. if you wish to assert one of the aforementioned data subject rights against us, please use the contact options mentioned in point 1. Please understand that we may request additional information from you to confirm your identity.
- Right of appeal
If you are of the opinion that we are processing your data unlawfully, we ask you to contact us for immediate clarification. You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Wickenburggasse 8-10, 1080 Vienna.
